New Short Story Audiobook & New Books Updates

My new novel is going very well and is now at 80,000 words. This will be my 17th novel since I began writing full-length books.

All of my previous novels have been released through Amazon but I am considering releasing this through a publisher. I will decide this once the novel is complete and edited.

I will update here once I have a firm idea on how I will proceed.

I continue to grow my YouTube channel, and have recently added quite a lot of content.

My latest short story is a narration of a piece by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. You can view it right here:

You can see this on my YouTube channel which is at:

My aim is to release a new dog book in time, which is as you might imagine my favourite subject to write about. I have several ideas I am working on, and hope to have a feature length dog book released as soon as possible.

As I now have a dedicated narrating and recording space set up I am all set to begin creating audiobooks versions of all my novels. The first of which will be The Dog That Wouldn’t Sit 1. This will be released through Audible and subsequently all of my novels will be released through this service.

I will be sure to update here once I have a release date for my first novel.

I aim to release The Dog Under The Bed series, books 1-3 in hardback shortly. I will also be releasing The Dog That Wouldn’t Sit in paperback as well, as these titles until now have only ever been released on Kindle. These will be compilations featuring all of the related novels.

As always, thank you so much for all your kindness and support. It is very much appreciated.

Audiobooks Update & New Videos

As a quick side-note, progress on my new full-length novel is going very well and I hope to have it finished soon. I would detail more here soon.

I have invested in quite a bit of new recording equipment including a professional microphone and amplifier, and set up a home recording booth. This is with an aim to soon narrate all of my back catalogue of books for Audible.

I am of course aware that there as quick and easy options for using AI to narrate and set up all of my books as audiobooks, but I do not like AI narrated books at all and find them stunted and mechanical. There is often missing emphasis and structure, but my main concern is that I would simply prefer my readers to hear my voice reading my books, naturally, and so will do them all myself, no matter how long it takes to get them perfect.

As many of you will know, I have a YouTube channel, where I narrate and create audio recordings of old stories, poems and snippets of my own books. This is as a tester and an opportunity to learn my craft and hone my skills to bring the stories to life. You can check these out here:

I am pleased to say I have recorded quite a lot of stories and poems now, and my latest one has just gone live. This is a short story by Lucy Maud Montgomery.

Please feel free to leave any comments about my narration or the story there or here. I read and reply to them all.

As I say, I will be sure to update here again shortly with more information about my new book.

I am also pleased to say a new dog book is in the works and will be available hopefully by the summer.

As always, thank you so much for all your kindness and support. It is very much appreciated.
